Let the number of female patients be x.

Number of male patients = 184

$\\ \frac{Number\hspace{5} of\hspace{5} male\hspace{5} patients}{Number\hspace{5} of\hspace{5} female\hspace{5} patients}=\frac{4}{3}\\ \\ \\ \frac{184}{x}=\frac{4}{3}\\ \\ Cross\hspace{5}multiply\\ \\ 184\times3=4x\\ \\ 552=4x\\ \\ 4x=552\\ \\ x=\frac{552}{4}\\ \\ x=138$

So, number of female patients = x = 138

Original price = \$25

New price = \$20

To find the percent decrease, subtract the lower price from the higher price and divide the difference by the

original price. To change the answer to a percent, you must multiply by 100.

Percent decrease in price

$\\ =\frac{25-20}{25}\times100\%\\ \\ =\frac{5}{25}\times100\%\\ \\ =20\%$
