there are four stages listed as

primary-signs of sores that are small and painless , the sores may be found in 0r out of the mouth  or genitals  they are caused by the bacteria.

secondary- the signs are rashes, sore throat, headache ,hair loss and itching . the rashes tend not to be painful and are found on the palm of the hands.

latent /hidden stage - the primary and the secondary symptoms tend to disappear and thus there are no symtoms shown at these stage,to some extent the secondary stage signs may appear.

tertiary -there is no treatment at this stage , the signs are memory loss, loss of health, death and blindness.
