Area of the triangle = (1/2)bcsinA

 a/sinA = 2R, or a =  2RsinA. where R is radius. a,b,c are ths sides and A = 60 (angle between the sides ) of the triangle.

for an equilateral triangle a = b =c  and angles  A=B= C = 60°.  Radius R = 22 cm ( given.)

hence area of the equilateral triangle = (1/2) a^2* sin60 

= (1/2) (2R*sinA)^2 * sinA

= 2* R^2 * (sin60)^3 = 2 * 22^2 * (sin 60)^3 =628.73 SQ cm
