A 75-kg worker is accidentally exposed to a 44-rad dose of gamma radiation. How much energy does the worker absorb?

therefore 44 rad does  =44*0.01 = 0.44 Joule per kg

Mass of man = 75 therefore Energy absorbed =75*0.44 = 33  J  (Answer)
