Solve each system by graphing.

19) 6+2y=-7x

6y-18=-3x

You don't have to graph it but, i need you to solve it. I can't be able to subtitute the first eqation since the y has to be in front of the equation. Please help

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

6+2y=-7x............................... equation (1)

6y-18=-3x..............................equation (2)

(1)=7x+2y+6=0

(2)=3x+6y-18=0

multiply equation (1) by 3

(1)=6y+21x+18=0

(2)= 6y+3x-18=0

subtract equation  (2) from (1)=21x-3x+6y-6y+18--18=0

18x+36=0

18x=-36

x=-2

to get y substitute value of x in equation 1

6+2y=-7(-2)

6+2y=14

2y=14-6

2y=8

y=4

Therefore values are  x=-2, y=4 or (-2,4)

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
