Elicitation Techniques Project
Elicitation techniques are methods that are used to establish stakeholder’s needs when
developing a project. They are meant for gathering information critical for the improvement
of the project by defining various end-user expectations(Carrizo, Dieste&Juristo, 2017).
These techniques are discussed in this section and the role each play when developing the
application for LensCrafters Company.
Focus Group
To ensure that stakeholders fully support the project it is essential to engage focus
groups. Focus groups bring various interest groups into play to table their views that could
enhance the improvement of the project. When developing the application for LemsCrafting,
it is essential to involve managers of all the stores to ensure that the resulting information is
useful when designing the application. Among the focus group members are the customers,
management and the sponsors of the project and they must be interviewed to establish their
expectations.
Interface Analysis
This type of elicitation analysis and redesign the interface improving consumer’s
