Successful organizations are known to have great corporate cultures that are built from
the visions of their founders on values and contributions that must be delivered to society. While
reflecting on the ideas and concepts that were discussed in videos and those that are shared in the
course textbooks, I realized that organizational behavior is one that is dependent on the
interactions of the human resource elements of the business models and strategic plans. It is a
perspective that was affirmed by Wilkinson (2011) in his speech on company culture when stated
that a company culture should be built on a team of people who are committed to the same
purpose, the same passion, and the same ideas.
In my experience as a manager, this position is always correct because the level of
commitment of the team is dependent on their understanding of the vision of the company, which
is demonstrated by the cultural practices that exist within the environment. An additional aspect
of the video that affirmed my experience regarding the value of corporate culture and ethical
behavior is the use of the company policy as the reference material for acceptable and
unacceptable practices. As Rhoades (2016) noted in her presentation, the development of a
