Now, 16/9 + 16/5 = ((16*5)+(16*9))/45 (Taking the lowest Common Multiple or L.C.M.) = 45 so multiplying and dividing 16/9 by 5 to make up 45, (16*5)/(9*5) = 80/45 multiplying and dividing 16/5 by 9 to make up 45, (16*9)/(5*9) = 144/45. Therefor, 80/45 + 144/45 = (80+144)/45 = 224/45 = 4.977777778 = 4.98.
