My dissertation is centered around how minorities specifically african american males and females faculty and stuff are less likely to move up in higher education and how having this representation at predominately white institutions is great for students.

According to this article, having students from different races, ethnicities and sexual persuasions
in my opinion, helps foster a healthier and productive attitude among the citizens and among the
people from different cultures and beliefs. The article points out that it is important for American
society to use affirmative decisions during admissions rather than race-conscious decisions. The
