Three habits to reduce likelihood of developing breast cancer:
1. Smoking Cessation - Simply put, quitting smoking is one of the primary influencers in developing cancerous cells. Unfortunately smoking is a behavior that affects many different factors of disease, breast cancer being one of them.
2. Reduction and/or Elimination of Alcohol Consumption - Surprisingly, there is a high correlation between female drinking and the likelihood of developing breast cancer later in life, according to recent studies. Drinking less will markedly reduce the risk of developing breast cancer, especially as women mature into adulthood.
3. Exercise! - Cannot be stressed enough! Exercise is one way to push your body to excrete toxins, metabolize energy, and has the added neurological benefit of increasing euphoria (and depression has been linked to a suppressed immune system aka the cyclic "I'm sad so I'm sick, I'm sick so I'm sad" - therefore exercise can help to compound the unseen "good" factors with longevity resulting from a reduced depressed state)
