A beaker contains vinegar and olive oil. How would you best separate the two?

Jul 28th, 2015

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

There are two ways to seperate them

By labeling : label both for their specified names or short cuts to understand what bottle contains what

By smelling: the smell of vinegar is far different from the smell of olive oil. The beaker can use smelling technique as well

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.

The question is asking how can two be separated when they are inside of the same beaker?
