The Wage Gap
Introduction

The wage gap is the average difference remuneration received between two parties. In
some instances, many factors contribute to the extended wage gap. The gender wage gap has
been reported to affect women were the pay received by women serving in the same position
with similar qualification is different. Further, the problem has been catalyzed by the race issue
in the country. The United States Civil Rights Act for employees prohibits employers from
discriminating workers based on their race to make wage payment decisions. There have been
reports that have indicated on how the senior managers have been working with some
government official to manipulate reports on wages received by different workers in the
organization (Bobbitt-Zeher, 2017).
In this case, the firm has been facing challenges about the gendered wage gap that has
not been closed for many years. Further, the problem has been added another dimension as race
appears to further the impact of these gaps. The paper will conduct possible research to find
solutions on the issues that have been affecting. Some of the areas to be covered include
employee’s education achievements, income levels, health statistics, family dynamics, and
economic security issues.
