An equilateral triangle has an altitude length of 36 feet. Determine the length of a side of the triangle

the altitude face 60 degree angle in the right triangle, let the side be s, thus 

sin (60 degrees)  = 18/s

s= 36/sqrt(3) = 12*sqrt(3)
