Causes
A. Unregulated use of fossil fuels

Continued burning of fossil fuels has led to increased temperature in the atmosphere. Use of
fossil fuels like coal and gas to create electric power has increased the percentage of carbon
dioxide. Countries like Austria has recorded higher levels of CO2 pollution in the atmosphere
compared to the rest of the world.
B. Neglect of the laid down environmental laws and policies
UN biased climate policies
Global warming has continued due to the difference in climate policies. For instance, IPCC
focuses on climate change alone. Besides, the policy states that no harm should be done on the
economic growth of nations. However, nations are constantly polluting the environment to meet
economic objectives. The sections are disheartening on emerging.

The 2015 Paris agreement
Nations are striving to adhere to the 2015 Paris agreements. According to the agreements,
nations must strive the ensure temperature rise this century is below two degrees. Nations are
finding it impractical working within the regulation of the agreement (Jackson, 2019). For
instance, it is hard for developing countries to maintain a climate-resilient future without enough
support from developed nations (Unfccc, 2018).
C. Over-exploitation of natural resources
Increase in human population has led to exploitation of natural resources. China and India have
led in the number of population levels globally. The increased has led to the exploitation of
forests and other natural resources.

Temperature rise is expected to rise globally. The rise in greenhouse gases produced by humans
is expected to have a higher rise (Jackson, 2019). According to the Intergovernmental Panel on
Climate Change predict a rise of 2.5 to 10 degree over the next century. Different regions ought
to have a variant rise in temperature (Nasa, 2019).
B. Abnormal weather patterns
