Edwin Booth (1833-1893), Was an American actor, was the second
son of Junius Brutus Booth, and was born in Belair, Maryland, in 1833.
In 1868-1869 Edwin Booth built a theatre of his own--Booth's theatre in New York he organized an
excellent stock company, which produced Romeo and Juliet, The Winter's Tale, Julius Caesar,Macbeth,Much Ado about nothing, The Merchant of Venice and other plays.
