PLANNING CONSIDERATION FOR THE HR PROJECT

2

Introduction
Project success depends mostly on how well activities were anticipated and planned for.
Which makes project planning a crucial process that requires thorough consideration. Project
managers are expected to include some elements within the project plan. They include project
activities, timeframe, resources, and possible issues that may arise. Project scope is a collection
of all activities within a project which dictate its timeline included in the project schedule.
Factors mentioned above influence project resource allocation and funds indicated in the project
budget. An analysis of all project elements may show possible problems and issues likely to
arise, which are annotated as the project risks. This discussion, therefore, supports the fact that
planning is an essential preparation process that involves the consideration of all project
elements, that is, the scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
Project Scope
Among the first and most essential elements of project planning is the development of the
project scope. Some steps are taken in the course of this process. They include the assembling of

employees who will use the product, departments who will monitor the project delivery process
and the leaders who will fund and benefit from value addition through profits gives the project
manager a collection of all the perspectives that will measure the project's success. It is also an
opportunity to identify project objectives and expectations that stakeholders expect from the
process and final product. Each stakeholder is uniquely affected by the project. It is crucial that
the project manager gets all expectations so that a list of objectives can be derived from them.
After this, they can manage the process knowing exactly what each stakeholder expects during
and after product delivery. From the goals, the project manager can now compile a list of

activities, procedures, and guidelines that formulate the project scope or a description of all tasks
that the project must deliver (Kloppenborg, 2019).
Project Scheduling
Besides, a project scope creates a foundation for the other elements of a project plan. For
instance, the project manager can now create a project schedule from the explicit list of activities
from the scope. A schedule communicates how the project team will tackle the tasks in the
project scope. It comprises of a descriptive, interactive, and exhaustive process of ...
