A company has an equal number of applicants of both genders for positions in a department. These applicants have the same distribution of qualifications by gender. Thus, p = .50 = 50% is the expected probability that a hire is female. Yet, for the last 20 hires only 3 women have been hired. What is the expected number of female hires and how probable is that only three or fewer woman would be hired
