Abstract
Prejudice remains a major issue in the society especially towards minorities and small groups
within the society who share certain characteristics. These negative opinions towards such
groups are based on our lack of awareness and facts about such people which makes u to develop
generalized opinions towards them. The view of women on welfare as being lazy and doing
nothing about their lives is one of the major convictions that is popular in the country. There is a
need to address such convictions through anti-prejudice campaigns and providing public
information on certain matters.
