How has television affected our society?
Introduction
Television results in a big impact on our life and the way we spend our free time. It
results in major impact on younger people then the adults. It is also said that the television
takes most of a free time which we often waste despite the other useful activity is like family
conversations, doing exercises, reading books or studying, etc. Many children watch
television for more number of hours everyday as compared to the other activities like
studying and sleeping. Television also makes us unhappy in our own lives. The real life does
not seems to be very exciting which is normally presented on the television screen. Despite
various disadvantages, television pleasant way to relax as well as spend our free time.
News media influence on people's attitude or behaviour
Media plays an important role in delivering the message to the people through the
television. The benefits that people could gain from the news media is that it provides the
information related to the events that are happening around us as well as the other countries.
(Hawi, and Rupert, 2015) Moreover, receiving different kinds of news helps to build the
broader options and offenses the critical thinking important for making decisions in our
routine life. This proves that the news media keeps us updated about the things happening in
the world. (Dewi, Daniel, and Asep, 2018)

various viewers especially the young children. Numerous television news media broadcast
the news related to the social problems like criminal cases, divorce among the celebrities,

impact on the thinking of children and they start acting like what they usually see on the
television. Moreover, the news media also advertises some of the products that are promoted
