Branding has lost its meaning over time. Currently, branding is no longer linked to the
transaction in the market. Sales and relationships should go hand-in-hand when it comes to
branding. In the past, the market was factory-based and capabilities-driven, and this made
manufacturing to focus on the product through production. In the new economy, branding is
more important than the manufacturing process of the product, and this is why the market is
consumer-based and to focus on the customers primarily. Branding should be consistent in every
detail to ensure the preservation of branding relationships. In the past, what was sold to the
consumer was the idea without discriminating any group but rather unite people. The current
marketers use new and broad demographic categories that reject categories of traditional
sociology. Therefore, there is lack of academic credibility. However, this does not prevent
dominating the consumer landscape and shape the way customers think they buy and who they
are.
The issue of branding is seen even in the political world. Style and branding are used in
different parties to indicate their policies. According to lifestyle identity, the manufactured
products and services in the old economy are not considered as measures of the brand itself. It
