Differences between Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Chest pain
Scientifically, there exist some crucial differences between Gastroesophageal reflux
disease (GERD) and chest pain; this is the main reason behind some patients often stating that
they have some chest pains which aren't related to the heart. Well, the Gastroesophageal disease
is fundamentally a digestive disorder which does affect the lower parts of the esophageal
sphincter; this is the ring of muscles which are found between the stomach and esophagus.
Numerous people inclusive of expectant women do suffer from acid indigestion or heartburn
particularly caused by this disease. It has been established that some people do suffer from this
disease as a result of a common condition referred to as a hiatal hernia (Enrique & Rao, 2015).
Chest pain on the hand is discomfort which arises as a result of insufficient oxygen-rich
blood reaching the heart muscle. It commonly feels like a squeeze or pressure in the chest. This
