  By definition

Rural health care is the interdisciplinary study of health and health care delivery in the rural areas ; while urban health care is the interdisciplinary study of health and health care delivery in urban centers like cities and towns. They differ in following ways:

1.In urban health, there is easy access to health centers than in rural health care. This is due to improved transport facilities and presence of several health centers.

2. In urban centers ,the quality offered is higher than in the rural setup. This is attributed to presence of highly qualified practitioneers and complex facilities like presence of MRI facilities in Newyork hospital

3. Urban health is more costly than rural one.
