If you followed the Dalai Lama's teachings on compassion what would change in your daily life? Is this level of compassion unrealistic or is it something to aim for?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

I will be more kind and loving. The teachings revolve around importance of compassion in our life and to the rest of the human race. That we should treat our neighbors in the ways we would like to be treated by them. This will help in changing my perception of people. This gives me a universal responsibility of feeling for others. If I do feel for others,I will not do anything to harm them, even if it shifts the favors to my side. You can imagine how life would be,without all this crimes , no need of employing guards. For a moment you would dream of cheaper life ,full of love and kindness.

It is unrealistic and as much as we aim for it, we only achieve the portion.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
