Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Word can be used to create a website in the folloeing cases:

     1. Can convert a preexiting document into web psge so that it cab be viewed by a normal browser.

      2. You can create links that points to other pages or other websites.

Word could not be used to create a commercial website. It is so disadvantaged due:

-lacks ability to embed codes supplied by other websites. Embeded codes are a common feature in most commercial website since it needs integration with other websites. Thus a Word developed website will be a substandard for a commercial use.

-Most of the times the requirements of the commercial website are high, owing to need to have a user friendly interface. This means it is a sophisticated website and it will be tedoius to create using Word.

- Lacks ability to insert interactive features such as pull down menu, contact support, and navigation buttons. This are requirements in most commercial websites

-It does not provide an easy way to update and chnge page layouts,a feature that most commercial websites need.

-Difficulty in printing documents from the website
