Abstract

Human resource management is responsible for the role of managing people in an
organization. The department of human resource, headed by the director of human resource is
accountable for roles such as staffing, compensation of employees, recruitment of new
personnel, development, as well as retention. The human resources in any entity play a vital role
in the running of the operations of the business, as well as its growth and development. Without
maximum attention to workers’ needs and issues in the organization, it is effortless for the
organization to close down. This can be due to reasons such as employee turnover and poor
employee management in general. Therefore, before opening any kind of entity, the owners
should be keen on the human resources they will employ.
