other. Key points to define collaborative partnership arrangement are such as a willingness to
perform towards a common goal, knowledge as of more significance over roles or titles, and
transparency in all aspects of communication and duties. Also, another important information is
that the involved parties should acknowledge the fact they benefit because they understand the
weaknesses and strengths of each other.

A geographic information system (GIS) is a program for analyzing, managing, and
gathering data. The system is developed from geography science; GIS integrates different type of
information, it evaluates a particular location and organizes statistics into visualization by
utilizing 3D scenes (Abdalla, 2016). Organizations are using GIS to create maps that perform
analysis, communicate, solve complex problems, and share information to stay competitive in
the business environment. The technology of GIS applies geographic science with tools for
collaboration and understanding to help people attain a common goal by gaining actionable
intelligence form the various statistics (Abdalla, 2016). GIS maps can be shared quickly and be
embedded in apps and could be accessed from any location. The program integrates the various

advantages and benefits which result in a competitive advantage. The program increases
efficiency by reducing the time lost through asking for directions which can lead to lost revenue.
GPS enables individuals to know direction on unfamiliar streets and displaying the quickest
route to reach their destination (Cheng, & Van, 2018). The program also provides control over
mobile units from a centralized location. Trucking companies can view their truck's position in
their fleet from the dispatch location in real time. GPS can be utilized for scheduling routes
before the commence of a trip by reviewing the distance involved and different turns involved
(Cheng, & Van, 2018). The web-based coupon-distribution organization can utilize GPS to
provide clients with coupons for businesses near their location.
A location-based service (LBS) is a program application for a mobile device that is
capable of IP that requires statistics about the location of the equipment (Abdalla, 2016). Some
services permit users to locate stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and other events or places for
convenience. Organizations have found several uses of LBS which allows customers to
determine the nearest location of stores which assist in staying competitive (Abdalla, 2016). LBS
can contribute to improving security by preventing fraud through matching a client's place of
their smartphone to a transaction conducted through credit card. The program can deliver travel
information such as updates of traffic and reports of weather so that the user can respond
appropriately. Also, companies that are logistics-dependent that employ people at multiple



locations, an LBS permits personnel to check in at a location utilizing their mobile device
(Abdalla, 2016).

Mobile device management (MDM) software allows distribution and management apps,
security and configuration settings, patching the firmware, monitoring for malware, and business
data containerization, operations that managers require to monitor, secure, and manage their

tablet computer, or mobile phone, staff can access organization data easily. Enterprises strive to

software is a technique of achieving good network security (Stricklen et al., 2014).
MDM enables remote management of devices and users which guarantee the security of

alignment with the policy of the company. Continues measures of business will be supported
through improving mobile devices from being a particular point of failure for losing information

naturally. When activities on personal devices are monitored, a business can save cost since there
would be no need for providing devices. MDM also supports bring your device (BYOD) which



is an improvement from traditional technology support which tended to reject devices that are

functions to support the cost-saving and productivity linked with bringing your device to work.
Regulatory standards adhering is a practice that is common and is a legal requirement in
