Question 1
I particularly agree with Lee, when he argues that, ‘‘significantly, if the community continues, it
would then diffuse that repertoire to the next generation through teaching, imitation, as well as
other forms of social transmission.’’ In this sense, I also agree that children are a true reflection
of their parents and society’s culture.
Question 2
I strongly believe that the huge number of battlefield deaths worked to strengthen the concept of
the ‘Good Death.’ Particularly, the ‘Good Death’ was an important way people were supposed to
die during the Civil War period. Americans had not witness such a war in a long time. With the
overwhelming number of solders dying and unidentified corpses, most families made it a point to
offer their loved one a ‘Good Death.’ In addition, the huge numbers of battlefield deaths were
being justified by invoking God, justice, as well as patriotism. As such, families attempted to
identify some of the bodies, thereby, preserving some aspects of humanity.
Question 3
As an American, serving in the armed forces is a thrilling experience. Guarding my country is
not only a calling but the way of my life. Here, we are prepared to give our lives in our great
nation’s defense. There are several examples of things in the army that we do, which can be

Tutor went the extra mile to help me with this essay. Citations were a bit shaky but I appreciated how well he handled APA styles and how ok he was to change them even though I didnt specify. Got a B+ which is believable and acceptable.
