We have 8 pieces of strawberry candy and 7 pieces of pineapple candy. In how many ways can we distribute this candy to 4 kids?

In how many ways can we distribute 13 pieces of identical candy to 5 kids, if the two youngest kids are twins and insist on receiving an equal number of pieces?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

The posible distribution could be 3 kids get 4 candies of any color, and 1 kid getting 3 candies. 2 kids can get 3 candies each,  with the 2 remaining getting 4 and 5 candies respectively.

13 candies can divided with youngest 2 kids getting 2 candies each and the older 3 getting 3 candies each.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
