Is buying products such as Virkon, hand sanitiser or even just boiling water the cheapest way to ensure that bacteria can be killed, creating a sterile environment?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Armed with the information i have read from different articles, it is true to say that buying products such as Virkon, hand sanitiser or even boiling water is the cheapest way of killing bacteria. On the other hand, chlorination is the most cost effective way of killing bacteria. The main reason for this is because the chemical is very expensive and this is the reason why many people prefer boiling water rather than buying chlorine.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
