Question Description

Why do you think the early figurative sculptures were so small?

After reading the notes and viewing the film, what do you think were the possible reasons for artists to paint on the walls of the Lascaux Caves? And other caves, as well?

What has made the images fade over time? What made the Lascaux images stay so bright for so many millennia?

Given the suggestions for the possible uses of Stonehenge, which do you think is most likely and why?
