Question Description

This week’s discussion post reiterates the idea of the first question on your reading worksheet. Tayo is clearly suffering from what we now identify as post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of fighting in Japan during World War II. The novel’s beginning can be hard to follow, as Tayo’s thoughts are hard to follow. While it may be confusing, is Silko’s writing method effective in getting the reader to better understand Tayo’s suffering? Write a paragraph in response to that question. In your paragraph, cite specific instances in the novel that prove your stance. Your post is due by the end of the day Friday.
