What is an equation of the line that passes through the point (4,5) and is parallel to the line whose equation is y = 2/3 - 4?

(4,5) and is parallel to the line whose equation is y = 2/3 x - 4

Now the slope of the line parallel to y = 2/3 x - 4 is

Slope = m = 2/3

So the equation of the line parallel to y = 2/3 x - 4 is

y - 5 = 2/3(x - 4)

3y - 15 = 2x - 8

2x - 3y = - 15 + 8

2x - 3y = - 7
