According to various scholars, critical thinking plays a vital role in enabling individuals
to handle various critical issues like academic challenges in a normal life context. It also
enhances creativity among people thus providing them with the necessary reasoning and learning
techniques. Important to note, critical thinkers are able to make sound decisions that enable them
to sail through perilous issues in the society (Kilgo etl, 2018). In a nutshell, critical thinking
skills can be applied in a number of rationales like when analyzing and apprehending false news.
One is able to analyze the information critically and come up with the appropriate information as
far as the news is concerned. This is one of the critical aspects that will buy the idea of critical
thinking in totality.

According to Jackson (2015), some of the barriers to critical thinking include fear,
