ECTION 1:

Goal: To explore your biblical worldview through a series of personal reflective exercises.

Instructions:Answer each question with a minimum of 3 sentences, ensuring that you answer all aspects of the question and provide supporting details or examples.

An Overview

Go to the website: www.biblicalworldviewindicator.com to complete the Biblical Worldview Indicator. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and you will get a customized report.

When you get to that link, click on TAKE THE ASSESSMENT. You will select “No Passcode” option and You will be prompted to select your INSTITUTION, COURSE NAME and COURSE NUMBER (UNIV 104) from a menu. Once you have made that selection you will be able to register and take the assessment.

Defining and Applying your Worldview

Below are 5 questions to help you clarify your worldview.As you respond to each question, go beyond a basic “yes” or “no” and explain your reasoning.Why do you believe that?Upon what do you base your belief?Remember to use complete sentences (minimum of 3 sentences per question) and supporting details.

SECTION 2:

Throughout the Bible, you can see evidence of how God values creativity. From the creation story and the wonders of the world around us to how "fearfully and wonderfully made" we are as individuals (Psalm 139:14, ESV). In this vein, each of us has been blessed with our own creative skills.

In this section, evaluate your creativity by going to http://www.testmycreativity.com. Then, answer the following questions in complete sentences.Most will require a minimum response of 2-3 sentences.

• What was your overall score?
• Which was your strongest metric at the end? Which was your weakest?
• Did the results surprise you? Why or why not?
• So often, our concept of creativity is limited to artistic ability.How can we be creative without being artistic?
• How do you know that God values creativity? Why is creativity important to God?
• Think of a difficult situation where you have used creativity to come up with a solution. Provide details about the situation and the solution. Focus on creativity and try to weave in some of the metrics from the assessment you took for this assignment. This response should be a paragraph of at least 5 sentences.

Goal: To expand your understanding of goals and time management through personal reflective exercises.

Assessing Your Time Management

Time is a gift from God. Everyone has the same 24 hours each day / 168 hours each week. We can choose to use our time wisely or to squander it. What does your current use of time indicate about you? This activity will help you see how much time you spend on your weekly activities/tasks and what is left to “manage.”
