PART I: Whose Table do you join? (391 words)
To begin with, I would want to say that Karl Marx, Emile Durkheim, and Georg Simme
are all great philosophers, socialists, economists, historians, and psychologists among other titles
you may name them alike. However, in my own opinion, Karl Marx tops them all. I tend to
believe that no one out of the three outruns Karl Marx when it comes to the considerate amount
of contribution he has done. Having said this, I think I would, therefore, join Karl Marx’s table.
This is because, first of all, I would want to learn more about intellectual thinking. As an
intellectual myself, I take myself to be a very lucky person to be alive in this time of history
where it is hard to find well-established philosophers like Karl Marx and the like. Therefore, I
would want to sit with Karl Marx so that he can challenge me intellectually. Secondly, Karl
Marx, as we all know it deserves a lot of acknowledgment when it comes to the liberation of the
human mind. He contributed a lot to intellectual liberation which in turn helped people get out ...
