BIOLOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL THEORIES
Most of the criminalist across the world believe that behaving violently is biological.
According to research carried out by the theorists it depicted that violent crime was associated with
the social and environmental elements. They conducted a brain study of the criminal and a brain
of a normal person then they compared the two cases and neurocriminology opened up.
Furthermore, psychologist’s theories focus on how human behavior interact with the surrounding
to cause violent crime. Psychological theories explain its perspectives in three ways that is the
psychodynamic perspective, behavioural, cognitive and personality theory.
In this the
psychological and biological theories of crime contrast in various ways which includes; biological
theories which explains that the human violent criminal behavior is hereditary and he or she
acquired the genetics of being criminal when he was born while the psychological theory focuses
on how the individual interacts with the environment to develop the crime behavior. Moreover, in
