1: Discussion must be 150 words with two sources. Discussion must be in APA format. Research and critique an article on Erik Erikson's psychosocial theory. Discuss which of Erikson's concepts would help you most in understanding the process of adjusting to a disability.

Genetic technology is becoming commonplace in our lives as new advances appear on a frequent basis. One genetic technology that is garnering increased attention is gene therapy and its potential to cure debilitating diseases like cystic fibrosis, hemophilia and even some cancers. But there is also concern that this technology could be misused.

  • What do you think are some of the pros and cons of gene therapy?
  • How do somatic and germ line gene therapy differ?
  • Might there be more ethical concern over one form of gene therapy than the other?

Erik Erikson’s psychological theory concepts.
Erikson’s psychological theory of development focuses much on how external factors,
parents, and society affect personality development when someone is growing from childhood to
adulthood. Erikson believes that every individual must have to pass the eight stages of
development (Polansky, 2017). There are some stages that can help an individual to adjust to a
disability.
A school-age child who is from six to twelve years is a stage where the kids experience
self-esteem and competency. This is a stage that the kid can be able to adjust to a disability easily
