Use expert citations from your textbook and respected authors such as found in articles or books retrieved from Brandman’s virtual library to complete this paper.
Peter Drucker is considered the leading management thinker of the last century. He wrote 40 books on management, including several when he was in his 90s. He coined or developed many fundamental management concepts (or their precursor ideas) that we take for granted today—the knowledge worker, management by objectives, outsourcing, and many others. The management guru Peter Drucker framed his consulting advice around five critical questions. With the answers to these five questions, you could run and grow your business. In this paper, you will refer to Drucker’s 5 questions to analyze a current or future/potential business opportunities.
Paper Guidelines
Prepare and submit 3-4 page paper that briefly describes Drucker’s five questions, defines and applies each of the five questions to a real organizational situation, and reflects on insights gained. A well-constructed paper will reference 3 or more scholarly sources including at least 1 journal articles such as those assigned and retrieved from Brandman’s virtual library, and adhere to APA standards.

Drucker’s 5 Questions
For a business enterprise to succeed, it must be well established and anchored in sound
missions and visions. Several business ventures achieve specificity needed to establish a niche in
the market by relying on various tenets of market research and developing a culture that
encourages its staff to strive and achieve organization goals and requirements, which often
results in good customer experience and ultimately, satisfaction. The organization that would be
analyzed for this paper is Microsoft Corporation. The organization is well known for its software
line of products, specifically the windows operating system. It is selected for this paper due to
the fact that it is my desired future place of work. To better understand its business environment
and space, Drucker’s 5 questions can be used to analyze the entity, which is the focus of this
paper.
One of the key factors in Microsoft’s success is the fact that it has a well laid out
organization mission that serves as a rallying point for every staff member and stakeholders,
which is consistent with Drucker’s question on what the mission of the organization is (Drucker,
Hesselbein, & Kuhl, 2015). Therefore, anyone who sees the organization or buys its products
