In Week Five, you will design an exercise regimen for a special population. Informing your client of the purpose, benefits, risks, precautions, and contraindications of participating in an exercise program is an important first step which is accomplished through the Informed Consent. Therefore this week, you will create an Informed Consent for your chosen special population. In the Week Two Discussion, you explained the components of an Informed Consent. Now, choose one of the special populations covered in the course text and create an Informed Consent including each of the required components. The informed consent should be created for a special population participating in a cardiovascular fitness program. The special population you choose this week should be the same as the special population for your Week Five Final Project. (Special populations are covered in Chapters 9-11 in the text.)

I am well aware that the program includes exercises that help in building the
cardiovascular system and this involves the lungs and heart. The aim of the exercises I to focus
on building the flexibility and the strength of the muscles and this guides the improvement of the
body system and the reduction of the rates of heart attack. It is important that there is screening
in focusing on the changes in the body as this helps in the investigation of the problems that one
faces in the exercising process. The different activities that are engaged are important in ensuring
there is reduction of risks and this improves the body functioning and helps in reducing of the
risks that are faced when the blood pressure levels are high. With the exercises, there is increase
in the motion in the joints and this helps in increasing flexibility.
Potential Risks
The population understand the potential risks of the exercises and this includes a high
reaction the heart and the lungs to the exercises. The changes that arise are likely to affect the
blood system and the prediction of the accuracy of the information is important as this helps is
understanding of the potential risks that an individual faces. The maintenance of the motion is
important in helping to balance the changes in the body from the continued exercises. It is
important that there is constant checks of the body performance as this helps in ensuring there is
strengthening of the muscles and the presentation of the various changes in the blood vessel
The risks that are likely to arise affect the accuracy of the performance of the heart and
this leads to the increase in the abnormalities in the operation of the heart. The weight lifting
might lead to strain in the muscles and this creates the need to focus on the safety of the
