I will post the paragraph that you should make a feedback on ****Please avoid plagiarism**** More info: You are required to give feedback to two of your colleagues. Your feedback must be at least one paragraphs. First: In today’s society, we face a lot of unrest in many different aspects. As my final capstone project, I will be focusing on Human Trafficking also known as sex trafficking. It involves the process taking an individual and exploiting against their will (anti-slavery, 2019). This is a serious problem that happens all around the world whether we know about it or not. It contributes to other social issues we face too such as poverty or other human rights violations. It a recognized problem all over the world but unfortunately it’s very hard to put an end to it. It can happen anywhere and anybody could be involved. It’s such discrete business which makes it more fascinating to investigate on sex trafficking in general. There are different categories of trafficking such as sex trafficking, forced labor and debt bondage. Forced Labor is also known as involuntary servitude, is the most common form of exploitation. Debt bonding is when an individual is forced into a situation in order to pay a debt off ( Human Rights Commission, 2019). For example, 51% victims are women, 28% are children and 21% are men and they are all victims of trafficking. To here victims speak about what it was like is sad and really makes you feel lucky that you never had to experience such a horrific thing. I want to give an angle of a victim but also a perpetrator that got caught and shared what it was like being in charged of that kind of illegal business. These forms of trafficking are concerning and common. Since it’s an underground business it makes it more difficult to investigate. Law enforcement is putting a lot of time and effort into minimizing the amount of cases of trafficking. Also, organizations are teaming up to support victims in any way necessary. At this point, victims and these organizations need to stick together to be heard and make people aware of such a horrific thing. References: Anti-Slavery. (2019). What is Human Trafficking? It affects the areas such as equal distribution of resources, opportunities and wealth distribution. In my Capstone project, I intend to research on topics relating to the negative impacts of social injustice on the social and economic well-being of individuals and the society at large. The first possible topic I would seek to explore is “the negative impacts of gender discrimination globally”. They would involve loss of opportunities, increased dependency and poverty levels. Moreover, it contributes to the increase in social vices such as prostitution. I would therefore like to explore these aspects in detail by researching detailed data that brings a realistic status of the injustice in the modern society. I would also love to explore the impacts of terrorism and extremism around the world. Particularly, I would explore the Middle East, focusing on countries such as Afghanistan and Syria. This will give me a great opportunity to empathize with the citizens of the affected countries. Finally, a possible topic is the negative impacts of tribalism and nepotism in the global society. Again, the topic has been blamed for various negative consequences for the society at large. Most pronounced is that tribalism has been the chief cause of civil war and wrangles globally. I look forward to exploring one of these topics in detail if approved. References Chapter 16. Discrimination and Self-discrimination of Women at Work. (n.d.).
