Question description

A web server receives an average of 11 hits per day. Implying a Poisson process --

1) Find P(time until next hit is > 3 hrs)

2) Find mean & variance for time until 200th hits (notice we are looking at the sum of 200 exponential random variables)

3) Use normal distribution to estimate the probability that the 200th hit occurs after more than 20 days.
