Institutional racism could result in internalized oppression for members of marginalized populations in many ways, these include being segregated, not sitting in the same classrooms as the majority natives and poor access to institutional facilities and eventually this will result in an oppressed individual. A clear example is what used to happen in the United states before the civil rights movement.
Immigration poses a great challenge to the immigrants, both socially, economically and politically. An example is the challenges faced by the African Americans, they were discriminated against, they didn't have rights to vote and they had poor access to education.
Acculturation definition, the process of adopting the cultural traits or social patterns of another group
