This study is based on various importance, challenges and other factors that influence
telecommunication. Telecommuting is an important aspect of the innovation and the ever rising ad
broadening field of technology. Through this, there has been a lot of unification in diversity. This is from
the sense that telecommuting has made it possible for one to link up with people in various places of the
world and make it seem like they are literally in the same geographical location.
Introduction
Telecommuting basically refers to the instance whereby employees or workers, or personnel do not
need to go to their various stations of work so as to perform their roles but still do the same from other
places. This is what may be referred to as remote working and is what most of the first world economies
in the world have changed to. This therefore makes it easier for people even to work while at their
homes or other places of the world far from their country or rather where they are physical office is
situated.
Considerations of a successful telecommuting program
For a telecommuting program to be effective, there are various issues that have to be considered. For
this kind of an arrangement to be successful, there is need to ensure that there is a sense of
organization and proper coordination between the administration of the organization and the
employees. Through this coordination, there is assurance of discipline and conformance to the various
rules of the organization like the number of hours that one needs to put in per day and other
formalities. Again, there is need to ensure that the level of technology available is up to the standards
that are required to ensure that there is proper delivery of the needed results and thus the need to
ensure that there is the conformance to the quality. As it is this level of technology that will ensure that
there is quality work being done and that there is proper linking between the remote employees and the
main office.
Challenges encountered in implementation of the program
Another thing that needs to be considered for this type of an arrangement to work is the environment
around. Not every place will be a suitable place for one to telecommunicate this is because suitability
varies with issues such as how the rate of distraction at the place. At the same time, there is aspect of
how an employee can be banked on while working remotely. This has to be evaluated first before
