The question asks to give reasons for: Why Catholic Social Teachings are important and how they can be involved in bringing justice to the world.

So far I have:

- Sets examples/standard to live by

- Creates a sense of belonging and community with those involved in helping and the people who are being helped.

I need one more reason. Any hints or ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Catholic Social Teaching is based on the belief that God has a plan for creation, a plan to build his kingdom of peace, love and justice.

It explains that God has a special place in this story for each of us, whoever we are. Our part in this plan isn’t just limited to things ‘spiritual’, or things we might do on Sundays, but that it involves every aspect of our lives, from the things we pray about, to how we live as a responsible global citizens. it equips a global citizen with guidelines and good life  skills for instance  teachings on  responsible and holly  social  life.

Catholic social teaching is a central and essential element of our faith. Its roots are in the Hebrew prophets who announced God's special love for the poor and called God's people to a covenant of love and justice. It is a teaching founded on the life and words of Jesus Christ, who came "to bring glad tidings to the poor . . . liberty to captives . . . recovery of sight to the blind"(Lukek 4:18-19), and who identified himself with "the least of these," the hungry and the stranger (cf. Mt 25:45). Catholic social teaching is built on a commitment to the poor. This commitment arises from our experiences of Christ in the Eucharist.

The following are the moist vital teaching in Catholic church

1. Dignity

We must recognise we are all brothers and sisters which requires us to respect, value and uphold a common dignity for ourselves and each other

2.Community participation. Encourages anyone to be involved in the progress and the development of the community.

3. peace and reconciloation

4.Solidarity.
