Question Description

Your assignment is to write a 1-2 page 3-part descriptive specification for a geotextile fabric to be used as a soil "bridge" in a parking lot. Be sure to include submittal requirements, quality control measures, a description of the product (without using the name of the manufacturer), and installation information.

Add'l info: A soil bridge would potentially minimize or reduce the need to excavate unsuitable soils providing a structural element to the paving section. (Hint: Look for a product called "Tensar" to use as a guide).

As an alternative, if you are currently working on a senior project, you may submit a 2-3 page, 2-part DESCRIPTIVE specification section for one of the elements in your senior project.

Please read it carefully and let me know if you need anything
