1. What are your feelings and reactions to this story?
It should have been traumatizing for Desi to realize that her brother would remain in a coma for
two weeks after the accident. It is always challenging to talk and joke with a person; then the
next minute life takes a turn. For Desi, it was hard; it was hard to come in terms that her brother
would not walk or have children after the accident. I would also feel the same bitterness, and it
would be hard for me to control my tears. It is interesting to see how Desi and her family decided
to accept what happened and take care of her brother in the hospital. She left her education, and
soon the hospital became her second home. After that, she also faced another challenge of
assim...
