what does x/2x-1=5/3?

I know that the answer is 5/7 because he gave an answer sheet but i have no idea how to get to that answer.

So we know x/(2x-1) = 5/3. Now, we need to cross multiply our fractions, which gives us 3x=5(2x-1). Now we expand it out to 3x=10x-5. From here we can get our x's to one side, and non-x numbers to the other side. From that step we get 5=7x. All we have to do now is divide both sides by 7, making 5/7=x.
