Can you explain to me how to calculate income before tax? Is it the same as calculating EBIT or is it different?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

An indicator of a company's financial performance calculated as;

revenue - expenses

excluding tax. EBT(earnings before tax) is a line on the company's income statement that shows how much the company has earned after the cost of goods sold, interest and selling, general and administrative expenses have been subtracted from gross sales.
it is the same as calculating EBIT(Earnings before interest & tax)

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
