There is a lot of nutrition information available on the Internet. When reading nutrition information it is important to evaluate what you are reading critically just as you would do in any other scientific field.
Search for a nutrition related topic on the Internet that interests you. In this discussion include what terms you searched and the link to the website. Briefly summarize what you’ve read and then state whether you think the information in credible and why you believe that. Some important points to keep in mind are the credentials of the author (or the agency or institution that is providing the information) and whether there are credible references cited (i.e. studies published in peer reviewed journals, consensus reports from governmental agencies or scientific societies etc.)
