Introduction and Overview

Shelter England is a company that is dedicated to helping people who are homeless or
without proper housing secure a safer and affordable home (England, 2019). Most of these
services that are offered are done through, advising clients, supporting those who are not able
and also giving legal help to those in need of the same. The service has been helping many
people get better housing since 1966, and it looks forward to a time people will not be looking to
them anymore for housing solutions. The purpose of this report is to give the inspiration story of
Shelter England Company by describing their goals and objectives, the strategy they want to use
to reach their audience and also their positioning story.
Goals and Objectives
First, they want to advocate for the rights of the renters and end their discrimination
across the country. The objective of the company in line with the above goal is that by the year
2022, all renters in England will have more security for their homes and will not be afraid of or
facing any form of discrimination (England, 2019). Over the last few decades, the country has
been polarized by various types of discrimination of tenants which has affected and made many
people lose their homes. Moreover, the quality of the housing is poor compared to the cost that
the renters incur every week or month. Wages have been rising at a smaller rate yet the cost of
housing at a massive scale. The goal is to stand up for the renters of such houses who are private
citizens, campaign for improvements of their houses and increased security where tenants can
rent and stay wherever they choose to stay. They want to ensure that people who rent houses
know and understand their rights.
